Oranga Marae is a programme of support, advice and investment for marae. It gives whānau and hapū advice and support to help develop their marae and achieve their goals. This support may include building projects and activities to revitalise cultural knowledge.
Earn while you learn?
Apprenticeship Boost is available for employers to help keep or take on new apprentices. If you have any whānau wanting to learn the ropes of a trade, this might be able to support you.

Māori Trades and Training Fund encourages Māori organisations to try different approaches to engaging and keeping people in employment-focused training opportunities. Projects are Māori-led and offer benefits that are specific and relevant to people.

He Poutama Rangatahi supports community-based organisations to help rangatahi on their pathway to employment. It provides funding to organisations which provide wrap-around services to deliver sustained employment, education and training outcomes tailored for our rangatahi.
Helping marae connect to the internet
Marae Digital Connectivity will further assist whānau, hapū and iwi to achieve their goals and aspirations including social inclusion, cultural connections, and participation in the wider community. Marae Digital Connectivity may also offer alternative ways to access health, social and education services.
