Are you interested in farming?

Farm based training cadets will be involved in the management and development of the farm.

You will learn about determining and reviewing the stock policy, planning, decision making and attending to the day to day operations of the farm.

Scholarship places are available through the Māori Trade Training Programme.

Literacy Aotearoa are offering free short courses that are flexible and can be completed whenever you want.

Programmes for 2024

  • Digital Literacy: which can include anything for basic computing, security, emails, internet, devices (iphone, tablet, android) Microsoft applications and social media.
  • Drivers Education: NZ Learners Licence Theory
  • Literacy and Numeracy upskilling: which can cover a wide range of Literacy and Numeracy modules.

Get your restricted licence

Do you have your learners licence and limited resources to progress on to your restricted licence?

Nga Ara Pai Community Driver Mentor Programme wants you to get your restricted licence. 

Through offering driving lessons for young drivers over a ten week period in an automatic car, your mentors will help you be ready to pass your test.

Cost:$137 to sit your restricted licence.
